This is pre-sales question -- I am very interested in getting a MIDI Expression Quattro, but --
In the past, I used multiple MIDI Solutions Pedal Controller boxes, and found that they did not work with one of my keyboard controllers, because the keyboard could not supply sufficient "MIDI Power" to the Pedal Controller. I ended up needing to buy their MIDI power adapter (http://midisolutions.com/prodpwr.htm) and putting it in the MIDI chain with my Pedal Controller boxes.
Audiofront's MIDI Expression Quattro looks like a much simpler, more compact solution than the chain of 5 MIDI Solutions boxes (4 pedal controllers + power) that I was previously using.
My question is -- does MIDI Expression Quattro have any known power issues with certain keyboard keyboard controllers? My Roland A-37 was a problematic one as well as an old Studiologic one I've forgotten the model # of. And if the Quattro has power issues, does Audiofront offer a solution, or is it safe to use my MIDI Solutions Power box... ?
Thanks much!
Stan

Re: MIDI Power?
Following up on my own post, here is MIDI Solutions' fuller explanation of the power issue, along with a long list of keyboard that don't supply their power needs -- http://midisolutions.com/faqs.htm#LED
Could this be a potential problem with Audiofront's MIDI Expression product, or are the power requirements lower?
Thanks again,
Stan

Re: MIDI Power?
MIDI solutions products are powered from the a MIDI jack. MIDI Expression devices, however, are USB bus powered so they won't have that problem.
