Pedal Curves work standalone?

Hello,
I just saw the midi quattro online, and it looks very interesting. Before purchasing one just 2 small questions:
1) As I am already using quite some software for my live rig I want to avoid adding more bits running during concerts, so: the curve control you describe would really help me to get more out of my midi expression pedal I use for Volume and WahWah, but once the curves are set, does midi quattro the run standalone with the same settings?
2) I live in Italy. How long would the shipping need?

Hi,

All the processing is done on the device itself, the Control Application is merely an interface for adjusting the settings of the device. It does not need to be running in order for the device to work. Shipping to Italy typically takes about 12 days.
