2 midi pedals for separate independent cc11

Hi, I have the 3 input ME. Noob question here!
My live gig setup is 2 keyboards. Kybd 1 is controlling Mainstage and kybd 2 is independent. How do I connect two separate Boss FV500 pedals to ME, to control cc11 separately independently for both kybds? (My ME is powered with USB charger)

You need to give me a bit more information about your setup. How are the keyboards conencted to your system? What do you mean by independent? Is one of the keyboards connected to the MIDI Expression via the DIN MIDI in / out?

Thank You for quick reply! My setup:

Top:Yamaha XF 7 (independent)
Bottom: Yamaha XF8 (as kybd controller only) to Mainstage on Macbook Pro, connected to thunderbolt audio interface .

I tried connecting one pedal on ME direct to USB on my MBP, the other pedal Midi Out of ME to Midi in of XF7. ME recognizes both pedals and the cc11 but both pedals are controlling both kybds together (the XF8 pedal moves the XF7 cc11 and vice versa).
I would like to use the pedals to control each kybd's cc11 separately.
(When I power the ME with external charger, I also could not get the pedals to work)

If you go into the routing section, you can set one pedal to only send to the MIDI Out Din and the other to only USB. However, when powered with a USB charger (no connection to a computer), both pedals will automatically be sent to the MIDI Out DIN regardless of the routing settings.

I see.. so if using the latter, should I set both kybds to different midi channels? Would that work?
