KT-10 Kick Trigger Pedal compatibility

Is this Roland KT-10 Kick Trigger Pedal compatible with the MIDI Expression iO?

I use a Zendrum with a Stompbox. I currently plug the KT-10 Kick Trigger Pedal into my Zendrum to trigger the kick base note in the STompbox.

What I would prefer to do is run a cable from the KT-10 over to the MIDI Expression iO for a bass midi note out to the Stompbox.

I'm ready to pull the trigger on the MIDI Expression iO. I just need to know if it's work with the KT-10.

No, that will not work. The KT-10 is a piezo based product, and MIDI Expression doesn't support piezos. Have a look at another product I make called eDRUMin.

Hi Rob: I just got my eDrumIn and it is fantastic. Will it work with the Roland Kt-9? I am trying to get a super quiet kick pedal and KT-9 is beater-less (so very quiet). What settings would I use in the software, ie. which device?

The KT-9 should work fine with your eDRUMin.
