MIDI Expression with iPad and Amplitube

Has anyone tried the MIDI Expression on an iPad using the camera connection kit with a guitar interface (like the IK Multimedia IRIGHD) to control the stomps in Amplitube? The IRIGHD uses the lightning connector on my iPad, but it will also work over USB, so I am thinking of using a powered USB bridge with the IRIGHD and MIDI Expression plugged in to that and the bridge into the iPad using the camera connection USB interface. I haven't purchased the MIDI Expression yet, will this work?

Mostly people only come here when they have issues, so your chances of getting a reply are slim. I suspect however, that the setup you described would work just fine.

I use mine with an iPad Air and a cheap passive USB hub along with a tascam audio interface and an m-audio controller keyboard. Working great.

Use it for gigging and rehearsal all the time ME works like a dream
