Sustain & Volume(Expression) on A Single ME

Is it possible to connect and use a sustain foot switch and an expression pedal for volume CC#7 or CC#11 expression control on a single ME?

I tried it. The sustain works fine, but the expression pedal has either "On" or "Off" rather than gradual increase from value 0 to 127.

I've already helped Reed via technical support. I just thought I'd mention that while it's possible to wire two sustain pedals together to simulate a dual footswitch, it's not possible to wire a sustain and expression pedal together.
