Roland DP-10 and half damper cc 64

Post by docdavekeyz »

Hi
I have a DP-10 that I'm trying to use for half damper in Pianoteq. I also have built in half damper in my casio PX3 and I'm trying to access it via my computer. In the control app I've set it to expression pedal, and can get continuous control from 0 to 127. When I try connecting directly into the standalone Pianoteq app or via Reaper, it doesn't work. Similarly when I try with the PX3 using Reaper with vst plugin, and even trying loopmidi and virtualkeyz I have no success. I'm wondering if anyone has had success with this pedal, and if so, how?
Thanks in advance

Have you enabled the MIDI Expression in the MIDI devices section of Reaper?

Hi Rob. I finally sorted it out. Able to control casio PX3 half damper as well as Pianoteq. I'll continue to experiment with other cc parameters as casio PX3 and PX 5s have many modifiable parameters and no expression pedal socket.
Casio forums are gonna love you!!!
