Breath control

Just a shot in the dark, here:
Has anyone tried a piezo-type approach of input (DIY even) towards an effective breath controller?
I'm not sure how I'd implement/house a piezo to try try this.
Any thoughts? ... Polite ones, that is? :lol:

Not here, but I wouldn't expect a piezo based controller to work. They generate an alternating current, but MIDI Expression expects DC.

I actually have a prototype device that works with piezo's. How is a wind controller supposed to work? The strength the vibration is supposed to be related to a CC value or something?
