TranslationHi there, I've embarked on building a high quality sampled drum kit soundfont in SF2 format, and the only thing I have to figure out is how to emulate hihat - I have 5 sets of hihat samples; each set represents how far open the pedal is - I'm considering assigning a different MIDI note to each set, then using the pedal position to determine which note to play.
Would it be possible to get my MIDI Expression outputting a different note depending on the Roland FD-8 pedal position? I have a green MIDI Expression from around 2014-2015...

Currently there is no way to have the MIDI Expression output different notes based on the position of the pedal, and I don't have any immediate plans to implement it.
Most drum software can read the CC position of the pedal, and trigger the correct hihat sound. What software are using?
