I am looking to use this as a midi wah pedal in Logic Pro x

Will it all be simple to use?

That pedal is definitely supported. Controlling plugins in Logic is not as straight forward as controlling virtual instruments--at least not compared to MainStage or Ableton.

Might want to search 'Logic MIDI control plugins".
