can MIDI Expression control a DAW audio track/bus?

Just got the MIDI Expression today -- it works great in my midi tracks on Sonar 8.5.

Is there any way to map it so it can control an audio track or bus?

If not in Sonar, are there any other Windows DAW applications that allow a midi expression pedal to control an audio track or bus?

I basically want to control the volume of a DAW audio track or main output with an expression pedal.

I guess it pays to read the Sonar manual. If you right-click on the audio track volume graphic, a pop-up list is displayed. Seclect "Remote Control", and you get the Remote Control parameter box. Select "Controller", select "7" as the controller number if you want it to control volume, then close the box. For some reason, it didn't work the first time. I tried the same thing the the channel trim, and it worked, so I went back and tried it on the channel volume output, and then it worked.
