Hi Rob,

I installed and tested the new firmware.

Port filtering and realtime system messages sending seem to work well. I didn't test sysex messages.

Unfortunately, the transformer option for transposing Value 2 (velocity) of Note On/Off messages that was implemented in 2.9.3.17 is no longer available ?

Regarding the Advanced Mode setting, I agree that it could be easier for basic users to hide advanced options. The potential issue I see is that in normal mode, you won't notice any active filtering or transformer settings which could be confusing.

Are you sure? I just checked here and it's still showing in the UI.

Hi Rob,

My apologies, your are right and I found the cause of the confusion.

All previous device settings remained the same in the UI after installation of the control application 2.9.4.0 except for Value 2 of the Note On/Off transformer rule which was reverted to INV. It is only after uprading the device to firmware 2.9.4.0 and retoggling Value 2 that the incremental option reappeared in the UI.

No big deal, here are screenshots of the sequence if that's any value for you.

Thanks for confirming. The reason it went missing was likely related to some other bug that was fixed in one of the last few builds of version 2.9.3.x.
