USB C Mac ARM

Post by ff76200@gmail.com »

Hello,
I don't see any topics about the recognition of The midiexpression Black plugged in an usb C.
I am on Apple M1 ARM OS 12.7.4. It's necessary to put a hub with external power so that the device it's recognised by the system.
Someone as the same problem ?
It's work great on Mac Intel with USB 2 !!
Just an usb c problem ?
thank's

MIDI Expression devices are class compliant. They should work perfectly fine plugged directly into a USB port on Apple silicon Macs. The fact that there are no topics on the matter is good evidence that it should work. Maybe check your USB cable.

I don't think you need to test with different computers. I think you need to test with different USB C to USB B cables.
