Hello from Australia!
Got my Quattro in the mail this week and am looking for an expression pedal solution that I can map to wah / pitch shift in Guitar Rig.
I've got a Dunlop Crybaby but that doesn't seem to be doing the job, my vague understanding is that the potentiometer in it isn't compatible.
Is there a "supported hardware" list anywhere for expression pedals?
I've picked up a few foot switches which seem to be working fine, so I'm on my way at least.
Options I'm interested in compatibility include:
M-Audio EX-P Expression Pedal
BEHRINGER FCV100
Moog EP-3 Expression Pedal
Roland EV-5 Expression Pedal
BOSS FV-50L
or these zany cheap chinese ones?
Daphon Stereo Instrument / Keyboard Volume Pedal - 50k ohm
Daphon 2 Channel Guitar Volume Pedal - 250k ohm
Compatible expression pedals
Re: Compatible expression pedals
The Chinese one with the 250k put won't work well. All those other pedals should be fine, however. I have most of them. The only one I'm not crazy about is the M-Audio EX-P. I like the Moog best. It has a nice smooth mechanical action.

Rob

Thanks Rob
Sounds like the Moog is the go, pity the Crybaby wasn't made with the future in mind (back in a time before internet) - If I really get nostalgic I've heard of people reverse engineering the pots.

Re: Compatible expression pedals
Well, you could replace the pot inside it, but then it just wouldn't be a wah anymore.
