why do I have to press twice?

Post by LeesKeys »

I've started using Camelot Pro (IOS) to manage my live keyboard performances. I can set each input on my Quattro to cover various midi cc functions but one function, "Scene change", requires that I press the pedal twice, not once. If I reassign this function to a pad on my Novation Launchkey, the operation occurs instantly with one pad press.

I assume you are doing this with a switch? Can you post a screenshot of your settings? It's likely related to the values that the pedal is sending. By default a switch will send value 127 when you press the pedal, and 0 when you release it. If however you have 'toggle' enabled, then it will alternate between sending 127 and 0 every time you press and release the pedal, which is likely the issue you are having. However, It's also possible that Camelot Pro doesn't want to see the 0 at all. If that's the case, you can enable 'toggle' and set both Value1 and Value2 to 127 and the pedal will only send 127 every time you press the pedal.
