Hey were you able to replicate my issue in IOS? When I open MidiExpression (ME) it doesn't consistently go beyond the opening screen on first-time open.
Midiexpression IOS tells me there's a firmware update available. I connected quattro to my windows computer and updated the ME firmware. I reconnected quattro to my iPad, opened ME (this time it opened correctly the first time), went to the firmware screen, which tells me that "the firmware for this device is higher than the installed firmware". Current Firmware 2.9.0.8, Latest firmware: 2.9.0.7.

That's just because there was a firmware update after the latest build of the iOS app. Nothing to worry about.
