I just ran into a snag. Over at my drum kit I have a sustain pedal plugged into my Midi Expression to toggle an audio channel in my DAW back and forth (active/inactive). It works perfectly. The midi channel is set to 1 and the address the Midi Expression is sending is 64. The issue I'm having is the sustain pedal address on my keyboard is also 64. Do you know of anything I can do to prevent the keyboard sustain from getting mixed up with the Midi Expression's same address? Or is the address inherent in the sustain pedals themselves? I use Cubase.
Thanks.

I would just open up the MIDI Expression control application and change the CC for your pedal to something else. Perhaps 70. Then you'll have to relearn the controller in Cubase.

Imagine that. It's such a simple piece I didn't even think about it having its own software interface. I just installed it and simply changed the midi channel. Problem solved. Thanks Rob.
