DspTrigger with logic pro 9 on mac

Hi,
I have some questions regarding DSP Trigger.

Will DSP Trigger work with logic pro 9 on the mac? In the forum posts that I have read most mac users seemed to be using Reaper.

Is there a free Mac au demo version, the free version on the download page is for windows and I assume vst only?

I noted that in the forum post titled "DSP Trigger on Mac" that you mentioned the mac au version seemed to trigger fine for realtime playing but it had some delay issues when using it to record midi. Is this still the case?

Yes, it will. There is an AU version available. You can use either version 1.4 or the 1.5 Beta.

There is no free version for the Mac. When I first released the free version of DSP Trigger, I wasn't producing a Mac version at all. However, the demo of the full version is fully functional for twenty minutes and should give a good idea of how it performs. After your twenty minutes, you can just close and re-open the project to continue evaluating it.

Those issues have been sorted out. Just grab a copy from the download page.

I'm currently trying the beta version and am liking what I see so far.

I particularly like your hotspot compensation feature where you can increase volume for edge hits.
The hotspot has always been a problem with my Roland pd-100 and pd-120 pads.

Hi to all! I'm Daniele, from Italy.
I'm trying DSPTrigger 1.5 beta, OSX AU version, in Logic 9.1.7, to control Superior 2.3.0 AU. I use the built-in output of my MacBookPro.
I create a new channel strip, with Superior 2.0 as the i/o device (as usual); Superior sounds good, controlled via Roland TD-6V.
I use this configuration since two years, and I had no trouble at all.
But now, when I insert DSPTrigger, the two software seems to communicate, but the output signal from Superior seems to don't reach anymore the Logic's mixer, so... I don't hear anything!
Seems like DSPTrigger make a modification on the automatic routing for Superior, in Logic...

If I re-start logic, with a new project without DSPTrigger, SUperior sound again; and, if I re-insert DSPTRigger, the sound go away again...

Have you any idea about this?

Hi Danny,

I think you might be confused as to what DSP Trigger does. You might want to have a quick look though the manual.

DSP Trigger is not designed to process the sounds from Drum Superior. Instead it's designed to process the raw audio from a drum pad and generate MIDI (much the same way as your TD6).
