CC midi for basic Hi Hat

Hi everyone,

Apologies for the very basic question but I just discovered eDrumin and I wonder if it can help me with the following:

I would like to use the CC HIHAT feature of Addictive Drums 2 however my hihat does not send CC, only 3 notes (HIHAT CLOSE, HIHAT OPEN, HIHAT PEDAL).

Will eDrumin make this possible somehow? (since it always does "magic" like position sensing using a single mono signal) or will I need to buy a new hihat pedal (that sends CC).

What hihat pedal are you using?

It is just an open/close pedal that came with my (cheap!) KAT KT1. I would be amazed if edrumin (or maybe Midi Expression) can somehow convert it into CC midi
