Possible to use DSP Trigger with Other Interface?

Hi Rob.

I was chatting with the owner of Pintech today regarding DIY E-drum kits and he mentioned your products. I have a Ddrum DDTI interface already and triggers mounted on mesh heads on normal shells. I was wondering if DSP Trigger would give me better control over the DDTI Interface as well as functioning as a replacement tool in my DAW.

From what I understand, I won't get positional sensing from my rim mounted triggers as the PS is designed with cone triggers in mind - Correct?
