DSP trigger w/Korg octopad or spd8

Need to know if DSP Trigger can work with a Korg Octopad 8. when i look at the tutorial videos i seet standard kit setups. is there a preset or can you create a preset to work with a controler having 8 equally sized and spaced pads.
