Activation Woes

Post by folkfreak »

This is only a short information, why I won't buy this great product although I had my mouse already over the buy it button.

I ts very sad tha a software as cheap as $39,00 is protected with such a hammer as challenge/response.
As a burned child I will never ever buy a c/r product from such a small developer again.

And to that ad the fact that
1.) I have to create a forum account just to send you a little notice
2.) During set up of that account I noticed that I did already set up an account in the past for Starting Point .
3. With that Log In I am only able to post in a forum section, where the last reply was a year ago.

I couldn't agree more. It really sucks that a small developer such as myself has to resort to such means in order to make a buck.

I went out of my way to make my c/r system as painless as possible. You don't need to create an account or enter any personal information. In fact the whole process takes about 15 seconds.

Rob
