That'll work.im pretty sure an 'insert cable' would also do the trick, and would more robust.

I have this roland insert trigger cable but it's 10 foot (3meter) , the lenght has any influence to latency ?

It's a bit pricey, but looks like very good quality.

yes a bit :D but i don't have to buy it ,i already got it , has lenght 10 feet negative response on latency from hit to trigger sound or its the same to 3 feet lenght ?

We are dealing with electric fields moving close to the speed of light, so no, not any any perceivable way.
