I figured out what was wrong. I had the input on my MIDI track set to my digital piano. Once I changed the input to "all inputs" it recognized the foot pedal and MIDI expression!

Once I pressed calibrate the pedal image began going up and down on screen when I moved my foot. The problem is I hear no change in the sound. How do I get my DAW to recognize it? I am using the latest version of Sonar Professional and Vienna Ensemble.

There is no internal led flashing. I tried updating the firmware. A window pops up and tells me to push button to activate. I tried clicking the button with my mouse. Nothing happens. Am I supposed to open up the device and physically push a button?

1. I wanted to make sure the MIDI Expression comes with a USB cable.

2. Will I be able to connect to computer to use with my DAW (Sonar) and control CC2? How does the DAW recognize it?
