Re: MIDI Expression 2.9.3 BETA is available
This is great news about 14bit CC and the ability to support 3 switch pedals. I'm really looking forward to trying that out (though very few devices or software support it - interestingly good ol Ableton Live does support it, as did the old Behringer BCR2000) Anyone have an existing easy diagram of ...

In Stock Timeline?
Greetings - I'm wondering if the estimated timeline for the MIDI Expression products shown up on the Store is still accurate. While I do own several ME devices, I'm trying to place several on rigs I'm building for some other touring musicisans. In essence, I'm just hoping that some magic has happene...

Re: Plugin for Quattro
I was using the AU version but I can check the VST version when I come back from this short tour (1 week). Being able to use AU or VST presets would be really nice way to manage the messages generated by the MIDI Expression. I like your idea of just altering some of the settings at any given time as...

Re: Plugin for Quattro
I have only give in a very brief test, but I can confirm that the Quattro is seen by the plugin in Ableton Live. I can set and use all 4 of my pedal inputs. The only small odd thing that happened is that I had to manually click on each of the 4 "slots" to get the plugin to recognize the de...

Re: Pre-sales question- using with a VST Wah
My plan worked well: I took out the guts from an old Wah pedal and replaced both jacks (input and output), with TRS jacks. I replaced the pot in the wah pedal with a standard 50K linear pot and wired it to the Output jack, just the way a standard volume pedal would be. THen I wired the switch to the...

Re: Plugin for Quattro
OSX. 10.9.5 The only app I've checked it in is Ableton Live 9.2.2. It appears that the plugin doesn't see the device itself, either, as I don't see the image of a footpedal connected and I'm not able to calibrate, etc. Launching the stand alone app does see the attached pedals. Ableton Live does see...

Plugin for Quattro
Does the Plugin version of the MIDI Expression Editor support the Quattro? When I bring it up in Live, I don't see the same input selectors that I see on the stand alone version. How do I use the plugin with the Quattro?

Re: Ernie Ball Vol Jr 6181 25K
I have just received my Quattro and I have a Ernie Ball Jr 25K pedal hooked up to it and it's working very well. Note, though, that I also have a softstep and I am finding the same pedal works well with it too! That said, I like connecting it to the Quattro more because I can adjust the curve. Vanceg

Re: Pre-sales question- using with a VST Wah
From my experience it should work fine. However, I haven't actually tried it with this plugin. I do know that the plugin can be MIDI controlled and there isn't any real reason the AudioFront hardware shouldn't work. I'm planning on modifying an actual wah pedal so that it has a normal Volume Pedal o...
