Re: Generate Velocity
If you could implement the feature, I can see that players of such instruments as organ/keyboard players without velocity, MIDI wind controllers and MIDI accordions can sure benefit from it. Thanks a lot.

Re: Generate Velocity
My midi controller sends out note-on messages obviously but not velocity. I wanted to add only velocity messages using the ME.

Re: Generate Velocity
Rob, please bear with me for one more question. You said, "change the CC value from 7 to 11" in the control application. CC7 is for volume, and cc11 for expression, and I understand that velocity is not part of any CC messages. Yet, you are saying that this will send out velocity in the ra...

Re: Generate Velocity
OK, let me give it another shot; Can I use an expression/volume pedal to send out velocity in the range of 0-127 corresponding to the pedal's position. i.e. not a fixed value? By the way, I have three MEs and one of them is MIDI Expression iO. Thanks.

Re: Generate Velocity
Sorry I didn't make myself clear. Say, my controller doesn't send out velocity. Is there any way to generate velocity via the ME? I need to be able to control the velocity realtime rather a fixed level.

Generate Velocity
Is there any way to use an ME to generate a constant sting of velocity like cc#11 using an expression pedal?

How about a full fleged midi foot controller, Audiofront?
Where here, I thought I would suggest Audiofront look into develping a midi foot controller. I understand the market is saturated, but then again it is because there is a great demand. I have a Gordius Giant 2 midi foot controller. It is too big and bulky. Just a nice and compact midi/usb foot contr...

Re: inexpensive dual switches
Today I received in the mail two of these mini switches. It is interesting that these are momentary not latching. I thought just about all foot swtiches of this type are latching just like my Hosa Fsc-385 Dual Latching Switch. Acutally, these cheap dual momentary serve my pusepose better and the tog...

Re: inexpensive dual switches
You may be right, but I think it will work for me. It's not just about the cost, but it will save room in my suitcase for oversea trips. By the way, this vendor says you can have it either as normally open or normally closed. As a nomally open, (I understand it as a momentary, non-latching) it can s...

inexpensive dual switches
one of my foot switches for my ME devices is the Hosa Fsc-385 Dual Latching Switch. I just love the fact that I can connect a dual switch into an input of the ME. As I want to assign more midi functions to foot switches, those dual foot switches come in pretty handy and help save room on the floor. ...
