What about connecting the midi expression to a mini male USB/female USB adapter and connecting that to a USB to midi cable and then to the io dock.

If not, are there any plans to make a midi expression device with traditional midi as opposed to mini USB connection?

Can this device be used with the Alesis IODock to control the pedal effects on the iPad guitar apps in a live situation.
