For sale: Lemon hi hat controller (shipping from EU / Netherlands)
I bought this but then changed my mind because the 2 piece hi-hats just look too tempting.

Re: feature request - extra note for "side rim shot" in positional sensing
With the current naming in the edrumin UI, i guess it could be called "POS RS"? Sounds like it could use a combination of the existing POS and RS mechanisms so I'm hoping this would be doable to implement from a software perspective. Woud be a great addition to have another sound variation...

feature request - extra note for "side rim shot" in positional sensing
Positional sensing works very nice on my PD-120 snare, and I'm using it to trigger Steven Slate Drummer(SSD) 5.5. I've configured it to use a separate MIDI note for POS(side hits) and RS (rim shots). SSD 5.5 supports an additional sound and midi note mapping for a "side rim shot", which wo...

Re: hotspot suppresion: thresh meter not registering anything
I've replaced the cone but I don't experience a significant difference, neither in hot spotting, nor in the hotspot supression threshold meter picking up hits at a lower meshhead tension. Oh well, guess I'll just try to avoid hitting the dead center of this PD-120

Re: hotspot suppresion: thresh meter not registering anything
Ok, thanks for the info! I have 3x Roland PD-120 and they're all pretty old. I also have one official Roland replacement cone, so I will try to replace it on one of them and then I can do some comparison. It's not hotspotting very much, only a bit. Positional sensing works very nicely, even better w...

Re: hotspot suppresion: thresh meter not registering anything
Ok, so if I loosen the mesh head a lot it starts registering in the hotspot threshold meter. However, this is at a point where the drums are too lose for my playing preference. Does the age and wear of the trigger cone play any role in this?

Re: hotspot suppresion: thresh meter not registering anything
I just recently got back into (e)drumming so I may have lost my reference on this. But I think it's relatively tight. I'll try loosening to see if anything will happen on the meter.

hotspot suppresion: thresh meter not registering anything
I'm trying to set up the hotspot suppression for my Roland PD-120. I have a 2.6 ms scan time set, and the button for hot spot suppression is enabled. After enabling it, the manual says: Start by adjusting the ‘Amount’ and ‘Scaler’ controls to zero. Which I did. Next, watch the meter of the ‘Thresh’ ...

Re: Unofficially supported devices
A question to the people using the goedrum GHC hi hat controller: can you specify which model/version you are using? My search for goedrum GHC on Ebay results in a couple of moodels: GHC GHC-AC GHC-AN GHC-Y GHC 2 Now my best guess is these are newer, so the people that have mentioned using it are li...
