I am having the exact same issue with my Drum Tec Pro 3 snare!
The edge sound is also triggered in the center, did not figure this out yet!
Saw a person on the Toontrack site with the same problem.

I tried to hook up my 14 inch Unlock hihat cymbals with the eDrumin 10, it says compatibility problem!
