Re: Best mesh heads

I would recommend SpareDrum Mesh heads available from shops like vybedrums.nl https://youtu.be/B5YjZ3Big_g?si=HKBowFVLbkxnFM_P I use the 22" 2ply and the mesh quality seems near identical to my drumtec heads. If i were starting again i would have bought a full set of them instead of paying the ...

Re: eDrumin 10 Availability in Europe??

I'm from the UK and bought an edrumin 4 back in Jan and did not get charged any additional fees. Bought an edrumin 10 and cable this month for £288.25 GBP ($356 USD) and was charged 20% import VAT £56.13 and £8 customs handling fee by Royal Mail. Ended up costing £352.38. Re: Seeking Advice on a Beginner's Kit

I have one because Rob developed ps it in the last releases of firmware. Please click the link in my post above and read the Rob's post. He developed it for those two. They do hotspot unfortunately, I used a PD-120 as a snare for a few years. I would not recommend them as a snare as the rim detection is not on par with the PD-125 or newer. Edge sensor is on a single cross bar so the rim detection has some blind spots.

Re: Seeking Advice on a Beginner's Kit

No worries :) Thats some nice solid hardware. 1) Seeing as you already have that kick pad i'd give it a go. Both look solid and well made. On the other hand the Roland KD's are tried and tested so might be less of a headache to get the feel and triggering right for you. Also check out KD-8 , very ch...

Re: Seeking Advice on a Beginner's Kit

If you're on a tight budget and comfortable buying and selling used gear i would suggest looking for a used Roland kit like a TD-9 or preferably newer and selling the module and pads you don't want. Buying a rack and hardware mounts individually can get expensive so this way you end up saving cash a...
