Yes, the kick is treated exactly the same as any other pad - snare, tom, etc.
You plug it into one of the standard ports - not the pedal port.

Re: Cant change midi note on some pads?
Hello
You need to change the MIDI note numbers from the drum map editor.
Have a look at the manual - it goes into more detail.
Don't forget to click the SAVE icon when making changes - I missed that at first.

Re: eDRUMin version 2.3.2 BETA now available
I've found a bug in 2.3.2.30.
When I export a drum preset to the desktop, the file has data in it.
However when exporting a pedal preset to the desktop, the file is empty.
The preset appears to be fine - I can load it into another pedal slot. It is the exporting to file where the bug is.

Re: Snapshots
OK. But let's say I want to keep a permanent copy on my network drive (through the laptop).
I download the snapshot to a USB key right?

Re: Issue with dual zone cymbal
I realise I have been describing the ports incorrectly - I thought the top row was 1 to 5. So the ports that have a problem with the cymbals are 7 and 8 (4th left on top row, 4th left on bottom row). A dual zone mesh pad (14" floor tom) seems to function perfectly fine on ports 7 and 8. I have ...

Re: Issue with dual zone cymbal
Spoke too soon
I shutdown the laptop and powered up again.
The problem is back again.
Going to try a mesh tom on the port.

Snapshots
I'm looking at snapshots in the PDF manual. Do I have this right: 1) I can save a snapshot for an eDRUMin module if I plug a USB flash drive into the host post 2) I can then save the entire module settings, including how each pad is configured on each port 3) I can load this preset onto another modu...

Re: Issue with dual zone cymbal
I have just tried the cymbal again, on port 4 and 9, before I planned to plug in a mesh based tom. The problem is no longer there. Edge detection works on hard strikes. Yesterday, it was reproduceable every single time on ports 4 & 9. i.e. it was not an intermittent problem. I updated the origin...

Re: Issue with dual zone cymbal
Further testing.
Port 6: OK
Port 7: OK
Port 8: OK
Port 9: faulty
Port 10: OK
It's ports 4 and 9 that are the problem.
With compatibility check enabled, port 9 was also issuing an error.
Needed to switch it off to get it (partially) working.
