You might suspect that the foam on an 80's trigger might have dried up a bit and have some crumbling. So maybe take a look and update (replace) the foam. You can always test them first before bothering with this step so you're not replacing foam on a broken trigger and replace the piezo or trigger ...

Has anyone had their 80s Simmons SDS era pads working with the eDRUMin? I have a set of Simmons SDS8 pads heading my way, and would like to use them to control drum plugins in Logic Pro.
