I can trigger samples in place of and along with SD3? Any recommendations?

Should I add this to my 2 edrumin 10 modules for any reason? Any cool uses? I guess to trigger samples on top of or in place of the SD3?

oh, and I am not using the SD3 mapping even though I am using SD3. I am using custom notes mapping.

I simply want to change a sound on a pad, but I do not see the banks as shown in the how-to video. The on/off switch controller is set up just fine.
