So ED8 would have no pedal input? Or is it shared with trigger input?
For me personally, it was all about maxing out the amount inputs in the smallest possible package (currently running 2x daisy chained ED10s), but I see the value of midi in for some folk.

Re: CY-16-RT
I've asked in the past, and to my knowledge there is no bell sense setting for it yet. The only way I can make it work with 1 input, is a roland->yamaha adapter with a resistor and then use yamaha wiring on input setting in edrumin. I used this tutorial to make it, and it works fine for me https://w...

Re: Private messages stuck in Outbox
As far as I know, default phpbb behaviour is that your PM will stay in Outbox until the recipient actually reads it. After that, it is moved to the Sent folder.

Re: MIDI expression vs. eDRUMin
You can change the *output* to note mode - ie, pressing a pedal plays a note instead of sending midi CC or program change message. The input stays the same - pedals. It is not possible to use piezos with midi expression, as they use different voltages and are not compatible with pedal circuitery (pa...

I am using this one to feed my daisy chained edrumin 10s. Not sure if it's "the best", but it works well and I needed something with a long cable.

Re: 2 ED10 Placement? Same side or spread out?
I've set it up that way myself, with the usb cable routed inside the center tube so there is no visible cable crossing from one side to the other. For now, this setup is actually more messy because I only have long cables, that were tucked in tubes before  I'll need to measure proper lenghts, a...

Re: Unofficially supported devices
Yes it does. I had one for a few days and it worked just as expected. Did you manage to get bell sense to work? I can't find a setup where it works with just 1 cable. Any tip on how to set it up or preset would be very appreciated :) Standard 2 input wiring is perfect though and that's what I use f...

Re: 3 zone Lemon cymbal with only 1 input
This is exactly why I used the guide and made those adapters - I have Roland 16" Thin Ride and wanted to save one input, but edrumin software bell detect is not that good with it. At the same time, opening the cymbal would be expensive if ever I needed a warranty repair. After I do not have war...

I've got a drumtec pro custom snare recently to use in my ED10 setup, and I am very pleased with it overall, no issues so far.

Re: Advice on hi-hat upgrade
I use Jobeky 14" Low Volume hihats (metal), which come with VH-11 pedal module. Before that, I had drum-tec branded clone (might be same as goedrum, they all look the same). I've had no problems with either, but the VH11 feels much nicer and has metal parts instead of full plastic.
