Re: Show us your builds!
Here's my FrankenKit. Started as Yamaha DTX 452K in March this year. Only Yamaha left there is the rack and bass pedal. 16" floor tom, converted to bass. Using XM built in trigger mesh High density mesh, similar to Drumtec Pro series. Lemon Cymbals and Hi Hat. How do i upload image? Seems like ...

Mesh bass drum double trigger
Hi, how do I reduce double triggering on a 16" bass drum (floor tom converted to bass drum). I'm using a xm built in trigger mesh for the head. Triggering works fine, I've used the Roland 120 preset. It has reduced the double triggering quite a bit, but it does happen once a while. I do have a ...

Melodics - wrong midi note
Hi, I've managed to set things to how I want it to work on Addictive Drummer 2. But when I switch over to Melodics, sometimes the crash 1 is not detected. Does not produce any sound on hits. I also notice that bow hits are identified as ride sometimes in melodics. Firmware in use: 1.5.0.22 Drum map ...

Re: New user - crosstalk and melodics
That was the weird part, I tried each cymbals available in the drum map, and tested which one light up the ride graphic... None. So I just custom mapped it in ad2.

Re: Melodics open hi hat
I got this working... I had to link the hihat controller to the corresponding cymbal used as hi hat.
Works great now.

Melodics open hi hat
After a bit of meddling around, I find that setting the drum map to yamaha worked the best so far for me, snare, tom, cymbal, hi hat etc are getting detected by melodics.
But it still doesn't detect open hi hat hits.
Any melodics users here care to assist me.

Re: New user - crosstalk and melodics
1) crosstalk.. when I hit the cymbal, the tom gets triggered randomly. I tried setting the crosstalk, but doesn't seems to do anything. How should I start setting crosstalk between two or multiple pads? Assuming you have all this pads connected to the eDRUMin. My suggestion. Turn off auto select an...
