Re: eDRUMin version 2.3.2 BETA now available

Hard to say what the issue is, but I suspect the snapshot you are loading has your pedal input saved as a hihat. Ah yes - this is exactly the problem. Thanks. I had not yet explored selective preset loading - very cool feature. I suppose it would be easy enough to the flash preset change message to...

Re: eDRUMin version 2.3.2 BETA now available

Hi Rob - I have two host-port connected ED10R2 modules, and firmware is 2.3.2.30 on both. Trying to use a USB flash drive and sustain pedal to switch through saved presets for both modules, but the USB flash drive save/restore only seems to work for the module the USB drive is connected to. Is this ...

Re: eDRUMin version 2.3.2 BETA now available

Hi Rob - using both .19 and .20 builds, I can see the bank changes are working find for trigger inputs, but I'm seeing an issue with the HiHat pedal. For the note bank switch sustain pedal I have Input=ALL, and the hi-hat trigger cycles through the banks fine, but the associated pedal is having an ...

Re: eDRUMin version 2.3.2 BETA now available

Oh, I can see now that the "Input" = ALL is what is not working. If I set it to a specific input it seems to work. And when I set Input=ALL, when I come back to the pedal config it is represented as "11". I have 2 ED10R2 modules connected together, and I used to be able to do not...

Re: eDRUMin version 2.3.2 BETA now available

Hi all. Just upgraded to 2.3.2.15 last night (from a pre-2.3 release), and now note bank changes with a sustain pedal are no longer working. The pedal device screen shows the bank incrementing, but none of the trigger note banks are incrementing. I have tried resetting the pedal setup and reconfigur...

Re: 2nd Hi Hat Controller Pedal Input - Uses?

Another application I have is a note bank foot switch, specifically to swap between different SD3 tracks in Logic. The note banks are setup in ED to change the midi channel only to one of 4 channels values (the midi notes are all the same across channels). Then in logic I have 4 separate SD3 tracks ...

Re: 2nd Hi Hat Controller Pedal Input - Uses?

I have a setup that allows me to convert the pedal CC note values into MIDI note values in the Logic programming interface. The application is to have pedal control of a continuous range of notes for a multi-note instrument in SD3. For example in the Orchestral SDX the timpani preset or the tube bel...

Re: Quick question about Lemon HiHats (LE-HHC12) and ED

It is a fair question. I do not know how SD3 is actually working behind the scenes, but when sending CC directly to SD3 for a hihat pedal, I can change the openness sound with the pedal *after* the cymbal trigger and the openness of the decaying hit changes. Given that CC notes are continuously tran...
