Re: Jobeky rubber cymbals support(ed?)
And…. Everything works! Though this could be considered to be sort of a costly solution, the eDRUMin allows me to replace my (single connector) ride with a Roland compatible (two cable) ride. I am very happy with this solution. I wrote a ‘how to’ post in the Crimson 2se group on Facebook. The eDRUMi...

Re: Midi note translation
You can right click on the note control and it'll switch to note numbers. That might help. YEAH!!! That did the trick. Now I can just set the numbers, which I did and now I can use the Jobeky ride as a replacement for my default ride. Next step is tweaking the settings, but meanwhile I will dismoun...

Midi note translation
Hi. I am at the next step of my little ‘ride replacement’ project. I connected the (Jobeky) ride to the edrumin4 and in the software set it to “Roland 3 Zone Cymbal”. I can see the responses in the software. That seems to work fine. Then I connected the edrumin to my module using a midi cable. My dr...

Re: Jobeky rubber cymbals support(ed?)
I don't really understand your problem, do you actually set the input to stereo ? Check this short video explaining the problem with lemon cymbals, you'll see that your cymbal is exactly the same except the rubber covering. I'm not sure it will help you though : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eAe4...

Re: Jobeky rubber cymbals support(ed
Jobeky's gear is quite non standard. You notice how they have 5 versions of that cymbal depending on which module you plan to use? My guess is that you'll want to use one of the Metal Cymbal pad types. Jobeky confirmed to me that the ride cymbal is wired the same as Roland cymbals. But when I choos...

Re: Jobeky rubber cymbals support(ed?)
I'd say to keep calm, I think this was a setting advice, not an advice to buy another cymbal. My guess is that you'll want to use one of the Metal Cymbal pad types. Personnaly, I would say that this Jobeky cymbal has a bell switch... So Metal cymbal cymbal type should not really help but give it a ...

Hi Rob,Rob wrote:How is the cymbal wired? Do you have a link for the cymbal?
I don’t know how the cymbal is wired. The url for the cymbal is https://jobekydrums.co.uk/product/15-6- ... er-cymbal/

Jobeky rubber cymbals support(ed?)
Hi. Does anyone have configuration information to use Jobeky Rubber cymbals? I have a three zone ride (two connectors)but can’t get edrumin (4) to recognize anything but the ride. No edge, no bell. Can anyone provide a clue how to configure this?

Power supply
Hi. I just ordered an eDrumin4. I am wonder about the power. I read that it can be powered through USB. Rather than getting a power supply, I would like to know whether I can simply plug that USB cable into one of the USB charging ports on a power distribution block and provide power that way, rathe...
