Hooray! The Jobeky one seems pricey as £10, but might be worth it. The screw connector is neat too, once you've widened the vent hole. Worth noting, my 3.5mm comes loose every now and then so I lose the ability to rim shot. A drop of superglue will solve this easily enough though. Thanks again for ...

Also, your 3.5mm to 1/4" adapter might not have a stereo plug at the other end (a lot of old iPod to PA cables did this). Worth unscrewing it and checking there are 3 connections in there. This! Looks like there is only 2 connections. Thank you very much for your advice! Good lesson, I'll pay ...
