Does anyone know how many articulations you can get with the goedrum HH controller and Superior Drummer 3 using the EdrumIn 4? By articulations I mean pedal articulations such as open, closed, half open etc

Hey guys. I ordered an edrum4 and I'm building an A to E snare. Does it matter where the inside shell piezo is mounted? Rimshot area? Crossstick area? Both? Thanks for any help.
