Re: SD3 Hihat close pedal
I think it´s an SD3 problem. It doesn´t happen on any EZX libraries, only on SDX expansions. Although it´s not audible. I changed the velocity curve for that articulation and it´s not audible even with a very exaggerated curve. Strange...

Re: SD3 Hihat close pedal
I followed your suggestions and the problem remains.
Can it be related to cc messages/values, causing another articulation to trigger?

SD3 Hihat close pedal
Hi everyone, I´m fine tunning my hihat (2 zones metal cymbals) and when I close my hihat after hitting it once fully open, when I close it afterwards, SD3 register a "closed pedal articulation" but also a "closed edge articulation". If I only play it with my pedal everything is f...

Re: Crash and Hihat bow/edge separation
Thanks Rob, that´s what I tought. I guess I will stick with only triggering the edge articulation using both triggers.

Crash and Hihat bow/edge separation
Hi everyone, I´m triggering SD3, using metal cymbals from AE Hybrid. My hihat and crashes have a bow piezo trigger and edge switch trigger. At the moment I´m having some problems getting the most out of the articulations on SD3. I did a work around, and since I don´t use much of the bow of the crash...

Re: Rimshot and rim settings
These are my current settings. I know the PS is quite exaggerated too, but it works, I´m still tweaking it. Also, I discussed a solution for this with the trigger manufacture. They will send me a box with a potentiometer and it will be connected between the pad and the eDRUMin. The other solution wo...

Re: Rimshot and rim settings
Where is the rim sensor located? It´s a bar trigger mounted horizontally. I tried other positions too, and the problem remains. The rim piezo is underneath. And the cone is 1mm from the bearing edge. I think that the signal from the piezo is too hot. If I would get a bigger signal diference between...

Re: Rimshot and rim settings
Yes the sample "rim-only" at least that´s what it´s called on SD3. Sorry if that wasn´t clear! I will usually use it for the "x-stick" but I was just wondering if if there´s any way to just use the "rim only" like "la grange" style :D Regarding the rimshot, I ...

Rimshot and rim settings
Hi everyone. I´m setting up my first kit and I´m having some issues. 1) I got a bar trigger from Gear Drum (mounted horinzatlly). The level from the rim piezo is quite high, so I need to have a quite big head zone on the rimshot range menu if I want to play rolls or ghost notes, or else it will trig...
Re: Rim Gain
Solved! I installed the trigger again and everything seems normal now
