Re: Roland BT-1 -- Double tap for different command?

Instead of time you may be more successfully requesting a different MIDI note based on velocity. So a max velocity hit is one midi note and something not max velocity is a different midi note.

Re: one module or 2?

Using a single ED4 for an entire kit would be limiting. 8 mono inputs and a HH controller. Due to beauty of eDRUMin those 8 inputs can be dual zone pads (with some limitations). Before the ED10 many drummers used multiple ED4s for an entire kit with great success. I have an ED10 and two ED4s, but fo...

Re: Splitter cable?

Can each trs input be split using a trs to dual trs ? Cable: Hosa YPP-118 Y Cable - 1/4 inch TRS Male to Dual 1/4 inch TRS Female No, each input can be split into dual mono using a YPP-117. In the control app change to dual mono and you’ll have control over each mono input. A YPP-118 would combine ...

Has anyone tried positional sensing with a Roland pdx-100 and edrumin?
Yes, works very well.

Updated post: I saw your other post on technical support. I felt like I should say the PDX-100s I have are standard Roland pads.

Re: eDRUMin version 2 BETA

Could be a bug. On ED4 lines connecting to inputs indicate that the first one is set to 3-Zone Roland or Metal cymbal pad type. So I purchased and just received a new ED4R3. I really like it BTW. Very cool with the metal case. Originally that ED4R2 I took a screenshot of had two HH cymbals as the i...

Oh ok, so the higher pitch is essentially the 'tight' articulation?
Correct.

Re: eDRUMin version 2 BETA

Hi Rob, is there any way to know which snapshot you have loaded? Not reliably. Bummer Variation to this question. Would it possible to indicate if the current settings are different from the snapshot last loaded? Something like an indication, don’t forget to save a snapshot because you have differe...

Re: eDRUMin accessibility

I can’t answer most of these questions on accessibility, but just so you know the app has no useable features without a device attached. The only thing visible on the app with no device attached s a message to attach an eDRUMin.

I'm guessing you're not using version 2.0.1.5. I'm pretty sure this issue was fixed a couple builds back.
All three devices are at this build.
