I am doing an A to E conversion and I was just wondering what others are using for the resonant heads. I was going to do 3ply for the batter and was thinking of a cheaper 1ply for the resonant head. Is this the normal way of doing it?? Are people using a 1ply mesh for the bass drum resonant also??

I had a question about cable splitting also. I read that on some devices if you use a Y cable to split a tom and kick or a tom and crash, etc into 1 input that you can't hit both of those things at the same time, is this true with the Edrumin10??
