Re: Best 3 zone cymbal. Rolands or yamaha? (13 and 15 inch)
great reply So then why would I pay twice the cost for the Roland over the Yamaha 15 inch ride to use with eDrumin? Because Roland gear is well-built, lasts forever, and keeps its value. I’ve cobbled my kit together over many years by buying and selling on eBay, and Roland stuff is consistently rel...

Re: Update to macOS Big Sur?
I’m in no hurry, just wanted to check. Some updates seem to require very little from developers in order for their apps to work.

Update to macOS Big Sur?
So Big Sur (macOS 11) is out of the box.
Safe to update in terms of eDRUMin working?

Re: Resonant heads??
Many just use an old mylar head, but cut it so that it's only a small ring left. Two centimeters or so. Any head (mesh or mylar) that fully covers the bottom will add some resonance to the drum.

Re: Newbie questions on eDrummin and VSTs
OK, next newbie question. In AD -> Map Window you have Map presets. Currently it's set to TD-10 as this was the module I used before getting the eDrummin.
There's obviously no preset for eDrummin avaliable. Should I choose "Empty", continue with TD-10 or pick something else?

Re: Newbie questions on eDrummin and VSTs
There's an Addictive Drums drum map built into the eDRUMin Control Application. I would use that as opposed to learning assignments in AD. That’s what I thought as well. And leave ADs learning functionality to for pads that have no corresponding pad in the map? Potentially, just make sure it's on a...

Newbie questions on eDrummin and VSTs
Just set up my ED10 and I run in to some issues of course.
I'm using Addictive Drums2 and there's a function where the program learns (and assigns) what pad should produce what sound. But should I do these settings or is all handled by eDrumin mapping function?

Re: Preset: Yamaha PCY135 3-zone cymbal
The manual says that you can load an .edp file type, but this is .hex?
