Re: eTambourine? Is it possible?
Thanks for your reply. I would like to get it working independently from the hi hat and occasionally add onto the hi hat stand. How would all this be achieved? The velocity and speed would need to affect the sound. Then let's imagine this was added to a hi hat stand without hats, how do all the up a...

eTambourine? Is it possible?
I love my eKit but I am missing my tambourine. SD3 has some sounds included, is there a way to modify a real tambourine so that it can be used within SD3? Ideally there would be something sensing the speed and velocity and whether it is moving up and down on high hat from being lifted or dropped or ...

Re: Roland to Yamaha Splitter
Thanks for your reply. So what are we saying? A metal cymbal can be three zone but must have a bell switch trigger rather than piezo to work with these splitter cables, a Keith Taper circuit is required or I should wait for Rob's update as it may not be necessary to change the bell piezo trigger and...

Re: Roland to Yamaha Splitter
Thanks for your reply. How do we change piezo to switch?
I am using 5 splitters already. Eight PD-8 PADS to four inputs and splash and bass drum to one.
It would be great to get bell, bow and edge into one input using only a splitter without a box.

Re: Roland to Yamaha Splitter
Thank you for your reply.
Ah, I thought you were referring to something slightly different. Yours is set up the same as mine, so I still need to know if there is a way to have all go to one eDRUMin port from my metal ride cymbal.

Re: Roland to Yamaha Splitter
Thanks for confirming. It is intended for metal cymbals. So to make this work I need to convert piezo piezo switch to switch switch switch on bell, bow and edge? Are you attempting this conversion to conserve inputs? The ride bell piezo, on a metal cymbal, is a much neater solution than adding a be...

Re: Roland to Yamaha Splitter
Thanks for your reply. Yes, I'm trying to get bell, bow and edge on one cable/eDRUMin port.
I have a bell piezo, bow piezo and edge switch at the moment.

Re: Roland to Yamaha Splitter
Thanks for your reply.
When I set it to stereo, eDRUMin doesn't allow me to set it to Yamaha wiring.
I reversed what Vince showed in his picture about one of these splitters:
Is that picture wrong then?

Roland to Yamaha Splitter
I've just made a splitter cable that includes a TE Connectivity 100k Metal Film Resistor 0.25W ±0.1% YR1B100KCC on one jack and think it is configured correctly. If I touch the edge or hit the bow I get one trigger and if I hit the bell, I get one and the the other trigger in sequence. https://imgur...
