Re: Best-care Practices for Preserving the eDRUMin (and connected devices)
With respect to preserving other devices, I also recently asked about the statement in the manual that there's a slight risk associated with the wrong device settings on the eDRUMin relative to the plugged in pad, and if this could potentially damage a pad given differences in voltages, etc. Rob's r...

Re: Best-care Practices for Preserving the eDRUMin (and connected devices)
I just bought an eDRUMin and it seems pretty great. I am wondering about how to best care for this unit - specifically, can it be left on for long periods of time? For example, say I leave it plugged into my PC while you're doing other things for work all day, will this shorten the lifespan of the u...

Re: Settings for roland kt 10
... so there's really little be be worried about. In the case of the KT-10, there's nothing connected to the ring-- no piezo and no switch, so there's absolute zero chance of it getting damaged. Nice, thanks, Rob. It still works great - so I wasn't too worried, but thought I'd ask. Sounds like you'...

Re: Settings for roland kt 10
Just received my eDRUMin! If we plugged in a Roland KT-10 and didn't know which option to choose, so we swapped between the 8 options available, is this likely to have damaged either the eDRUMin or the KT-10? I've since noticed the warnings in the manual about "before you plug in a pad, adjust ...

Re: eDRUMin vs. MIDI Expression for (hi-hat CC/trigger + bass drum trigger) only
i can recommend the roland fd9 and kt10 Those are the two I'm leaning towards as well! You use those both with the eDRUMin? I've read solid reviews on the Roland pedals, whereas there are (slightly) mixed reviews on the Yamaha equivalents (e.g. KU100, HH65). The Yamaha ones are significantly cheape...

Re: eDRUMin vs. MIDI Expression for (hi-hat CC/trigger + bass drum trigger) only
Hi, Rob! That's great, I will buy the eDRUMin then! Thank you for the heads up on the kick pedal support and future plans. I've one other simple question. Often HH pedals like the Yamaha HH65 are advertised as offering "Full Open, Full Closed, Half Open, and Foot Splash". However, modern s...

Re: eDRUMin vs. MIDI Expression for (hi-hat CC/trigger + bass drum trigger) only
For anyone reading this with a similar question, I did find the following thread: https://www.audiofront.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=29&t=528&p=2285&hilit=Midi+expression#p2285 This states that the HH Control on the back is a MIDI Expression input, but that the eDRUMin software doesn't yet...

eDRUMin vs. MIDI Expression for (hi-hat CC/trigger + bass drum trigger) only
I use a pad controller (MPD218) to play Superior Drummer 3, however I'd like to use a hi-hat pedal controller to modulate CC and trigger the closed pedal and splash (likely Yamaha HH65). I'd also like to trigger the bass drum using another pedal (likely Yamaha KU100). For these purposes, without muc...
