Re: Drum Map problem
You're getting off the topic of drum maps, and more into the DIY domain. These features are designed around commercial pads. If your construction is not up to par, you are going to run into issues. There are multiple threads in the technical support, troubleshooting and DIY sub forums about these t...

Re: Drum Map problem
MJB... at this point I’m wondering if your trigger setup is off. It sounds like it is way too hot. Take a look at how high your foam is above the bearing edge. The typical range is anywhere from 1mm to 3mm but in some of my drums I have it almost even with the bearing edge. I appreciate the thought...

Re: Drum Map problem
Well, I'm at a loss. Even with HSS thresh set to 0 and amount set to 100, I still have a very noticeable hot spot. Hits off-center barely register in terms of volume, and then the drum gets VERY loud on-center. The dynamics are just terrible.

Re: Drum Map problem
Thanks for the tips. I actually already did reset the eDRUMin to factory settings, re-updated the firmware, and upgraded to the latest beta of the control application. I also turned off my Mimic for now and will deal with trying to trigger that later. I appreciate the step-by-step approach you offer...

Re: Drum Map problem
I think I'm trying to do too much at once. I was trying to sort of simultaneously set up the eDRUMin to trigger both SD3 (by USB) and my Mimic (by MIDI) and it's just not working. Not only that, but I'm having a heck of a time with the calibration. I watched your video on pad set up and it looks ver...

Drum Map problem
I just git an eDRUMin 10 and I'm having a heck of a time getting this thing set up to trigger Superior Drummer 3 properly. About half my pads don't register a sound at all. The rest trigger properly, or trigger the wrong sound. I've tried using the Superior Drummer 3 drum map, but it doesn't seem to...

Re: eDRUMin 10 MIDI I/O
Thanks for the input! So, just to be super clear and make sure I understand: All drum pads into the eDRUMin. MIDI out from there to the Mimic's MIDI in port. USB cable from the eDRUMin to a computer running SD3. If you just want to sit down and practice, you fire up the Mimic, and get onboard sounds...
