Re: eDRUMin 1.6.2 BETA

I've just upgraded to 1.6.2.5 and I'm having an issue where side mounted piezo, mesh snare pad profile is sending CC Pan data with every hit. Doesn't happen if I change it to a rubber pad profile.

Re: Side trigger hot spots.

If you can, try mounting them with the trigger at the bottom - because of the height of the rims it should make it impossible to hit the trigger directly. This worked for my Alesis toms.

Re: Newbie with a specific Use Case regarding midi and Alesis

Edrumin midi out >Nitro midi in, Nitro USB disconnected = Edrumin triggers Nitro's internal sounds.
From memory in this scenario the Edrumin's midi isn't passed through to the Nitro's midi out.
Short answer - with your pc off you can trigger your Nitro sounds from your edrumin.

Rob wrote:That's very doable. I could just display it in the velocity curve area.

Re: Newbie with a specific Use Case regarding midi and Alesis

I use edrum in parallel with a Nitro Mesh kit. Both devices are connected via USB to my pc and I use various drum VSTs hosted by my DAW. The Nitro unit won't pass through midi from the edrum, it also won't accept incoming midi to trigger its internal sounds if its USB is connected to the pc. Presumi...

Re: eDRUMin 1.1 BETA

Sorted. I don't normally use positional sensing but I had enabled it on this release to see if it would work for me (I haven't had good results with my DIY snare previously), it was on the CC channel as the hihat.

Re: eDRUMin 1.1 BETA

Positional sensing was turned on. Not seeing anything in th UI, using ReaControl in REAPER to view the CC values.
I'll try again with positional sensing turned off.

Re: eDRUMin 1.1 BETA

I've found a bug with the hi hat pedal: with the pedal pressed down, after several hits on a snare pad on input 2 the CC output of the pad will fall from 127 to 64 then 0. It definitely isn't a pedal issue as my pedal only has 5 positions none of which output CC val 64. It doesn't seem to happen whe...

Re: eDRUMin 1.1 BETA

The crash on Win7 seems to have been resolved, however I've found another issue; in the drum map window the lowest visible option is Addictive drums. If you resize the the app while the drum map option is selected the app close X disappears.

Re: eDRUMin 1.1 BETA

Crashes on Win 7 64bit when switching to the pedal page. Have you made the Firmware Update for the edrumin? For me it worked after that. Yes, it worked long enough for me to set up all the pads and experiment with the new pedal settings. It crashed on the pedal page and when restarted it crashed im...
