Trigger multiple CCs using switch pedal
Re: Trigger multiple CCs using switch pedal
Here are the three transformer settings:
Re: Trigger multiple CCs using switch pedal
It sure looks like it! So I guess this should already be possible to do then
Re: Trigger multiple CCs using switch pedal
As I said, there were a couple of bugs, which I've fixed, but I'm going to spend another day on this to fix some other small issues with the transformer and then I'll post a new version next week.
Re: Trigger multiple CCs using switch pedal
I've finished fixing the bugs and made small improvements to the transformer to make it a little more flexible and intuitive for similar use cases. You can see the changes here:
And here are some download links.
When I connect a second MIDI Expression iO to the first with a MIDI cable, the second one seems to correctly identify the NRPN.

Awesome, thanks! And you just got a new sale
Re: Trigger multiple CCs using switch pedal
So I have received my MIDI Expression iO now, and trying to set up a sustain pedal to trigger that NRPN in addition to the CC 64.
I have set up the input jack 1 to generate CC64 values 0 and 127 on channel 16, it works as expected, and I see the correct CC message output to MIDI out and USB. I have enabled sending the jack to transformers, and set up the three transformer instances to duplicate, as this: But it still does not seem that the transformers are triggered. I only see the CC64 in the MIDI monitor window, and also if using a separate MIDI monitor app on my Mac. I don't see any transformer trigger indication in the routing, only to USB and MIDI DIN. Is there any setting I have missed? I am using the control app v2.8.8.0 you posted in this thread, and the firmware of the MIDI Expression iO is 2.8.8.0, which it says is the latest.

Re: Trigger multiple CCs using switch pedal
It's a bug. For each of the "Channel" controls, change it to some other value and then back to 16.
Re: Trigger multiple CCs using switch pedal
That did the trick! Thank you!
