eDRUMin 10 with VH10 and EZ2

I am currently playing on my DIY drum with a Roland TD9 and EZ2. So far so good except for my Hi-Hat Roland VH10. The hi-hat does not work badly with my TD9, but unfortunately not to my satisfaction with the EZ2. The well-known thing with open close ... Now I'm thinking about swapping my TD9 for an eDRUMin 10 because it sounds very interesting and offers a lot of setting options.
Can someone tell me whether my Roland VH-10 Hi-Hat works as well with EZ2 as it does with SD3?

I wouldn't be surprised if the general handling of hihats between EZD and SD3 is identical, but the number of articulations, and hense the amount of detail, is almost certainly higher in SD3.
