BFD 3 and the ED10 notes appear differently

Hi everyone,

I have a strange question ..on my ed10 I assign a pad a note, let's say a tom, and assign it d1 for a hit but when I hit that tom on the edrumming soft ware I see d1 light up but it triggers D2 in key maps in BFD3.

is this normal its a little confusing when I try to create the keymap

Why don't you switch to note numbers instead. On the control application, right click on a note control to switch to numbers. For BFD3 there's a checkbox in preferences, but I think you'll need to restart bfd afterwards.

I actually tried that that seems to work better. thank you. very strange I can't seem to get cymbal choke on crash 2 to work I see it light when I grab the cymbal and I set it to the note I assigned for it in the keymap but it just does not stop the cymbal. I tried other cymbals also I get the same result. I also tried telling Edummin to send a note instead of aftertouch and nothing happened Has anyone experienced that ? can BFD choke more than 1 cymbal?
